His Steps Method

Phase One - Application & Evaluation
Once the applicant seeks our help, we meet with his family for an evaluation. The applicant must be truly repentant and be seeking change from God.

Phase Two - Stabilization
The man stays at the His Steps Ministries home to learn responsibility and receive discipleship training.  This will focus upon:

• Early morning devotion and Bible study time

• Establishment of strong work habits

• Daily work on the property

• Individual and group counseling

• Nightly Bible studies

Our Curriculum

• Daily Proverbs Bible Study

• First thirty days read “Pilgrim’s Progress” by John Bunyan and weekly Pilgrim’s Progress Studies

• His Steps Ministries 2/10 Manual - a substance abuse training manual that very specifically describes the sin of addiction

• Attributes of God Study by A.W. Pink

• Weekly Fundamentals of the Faith Bible Study

• Progressive Sanctification training using the book “Changed into His Image” by Jim Berg and workbook “Taking Time To Change”

• The “Holy War” by John Bunyan and weekly Holy War Studies

Current cost for the His Steps residential care program is $800.00 per month.
